It was critical for NFI to be there for our employees who are the heart of the company. PhilabundanceDelivering Hunger Relief.In Camden, NJ, NFI’s Corporate team participated in The Preston & Steve Show’s Camp Out for Hunger and delivered a truckload packed with 18 pallets of food, with over 20,000 nonperishable items to Philabundance. This initiative was in partnership with our neighbors, the Michaels Organization and Conner Strong & Buckelew to support those in need in our local communities. Educational PartnersSupporting the Next GenerationNFI partnered with Cristo Rey, a college-prep high school for low-income students. Cristo Rey utilizes a work-study program, pairing students with local businesses to work one day per week. The program provides important professional development skills that are incorporated into their classroom curriculum, in addition to offsetting the cost of tuition through job partner sponsorships. SustainabilityNFI is pushing the industry forward toward a zero-emission future. We have implemented a variety of clean technologies and equipment to reduce our carbon footprint across both our transportation and warehousing operations in North America.
