Mike Greco, Senior Vice President of Global Logistics at NFI, will speak at the 2019 Center for Supply Chain Research at Lehigh (CSCRL) Spring Symposium taking place on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12, 2019 at Lehigh University. The event, titled “Supply Chain Risks and Opportunities in a Changing Global Environment,” offers industry peers and Lehigh University students and faculty the opportunity to learn about the current state of global trade market, as well as what’s in store for the future.

During the session, taking place on Friday, April 12 from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Greco will offer his 2019 global industry outlook, including insight into the challenges shippers may face as a result of the impact of tariffs, the effect of the 2020 low-sulfur fuel mandate, and more. He will also discuss the influence that new technology and consumer demands will have on the future global trade markets.

“As supply chains face challenges and risks like evolving tariffs, regulations, and mandates, the focus on flexible, modular solutions becomes essential,” said Greco. “Being able to select the right logistics partner that can provide the responsiveness and visibility required in a dynamic market landscape, as well as the ability to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, is more important than ever.”

NFI’s global logistics connects international and domestic supply chains, with solutions spanning both ocean and air freight forwarding, as well as order management, port and border services, and customs brokerage.
