The list was determined based on feedback received from an employee survey conducted by Energage, LLC., a third-party research partner. The anonymous survey measured several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

Founded in 1932, NFI is currently headed by the third-generation brothers, Sid, Jeff, and Ike Brown.
