NFI Named 2020 NextGen Supply Chain Award Winner in Recognition of Robotics and Innovation Efforts

NFI, a leading supply chain provider, was recently recognized as a 2020 NextGen Supply Chain End Users and Solution Providers Award Winner. NFI received the End User Award in Robotics in recognition of its robotics deployment in its warehouse facility in partnership with 6 River Systems. The awards will honor 10 companies for utilizing technologies that will shape tomorrow’s supply chains during the NextGen Supply Chain Conference, entitled “NextGen Technology in the Post COVID Supply Chain: Challenge Meets Opportunity,” taking place virtually November 10-12, 2020. 

Barbara Gress, Director of Innovation and Engineering, will participate as a panelist at the conference, highlighting the deployment of “Chucks” autonomous robots. Gress will share how NFI streamlined distribution operations for a global leader in giftware through increased picking accuracy, improved productivity, and decreased onboarding time during peak season.
