NFI, a leading provider of North American supply chain solutions, announces the launch of its Military and Veteran programs, further solidifying its commitment to supporting military personnel in their transition to civilian life. NFI has developed its Military Apprenticeship program in partnership with the Department of Labor Apprenticeship USA™, The Veterans Administration, and with the valued assistance of Fastport. With these partnerships, the program allows transitioning veterans to leverage the Veteran Apprentice, Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) program, made available under the GI Bill®*.
The program provides comprehensive training and development opportunities for military veterans, reservists, and guardsmen transitioning from military to civilian life. With a curriculum focused on truck driving and diesel maintenance careers, NFI’s programs equip participants with the skills and expertise required to thrive in the transportation industry.
During their paid apprenticeship with NFI, veterans can qualify for additional pay through the monthly VA educational program benefits from the GI Bill®. This approach ensures that transitioning military personnel can confidently pursue their career aspirations with financial support.

NFI’s Military Apprenticeship Program has been certified by the State Approving Agencies (SAA) in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, Massachusetts, and Texas, with additional states planned over the coming months.
