Camden, N.J., May 15, 2025 – NFI, a leading North American 3PL, partnered with Lamps Plus to open a distribution center in Greensboro, North Carolina. A ribbon-cutting event marked the launch of the new facility and included executives from both companies and Greensboro city representatives on April 30, 2025.
Lamps Plus, the nation’s largest specialty lighting retailer, began working with NFI in 2021 to establish an East Coast presence in Kutztown, PA, helping scale their growing eCommerce operation. With a plan to expand, Lamps Plus worked with NFI to move the operation to a new location in Greensboro, NC, a central North American hub for shipping activity, where they could reach 95% of their customers in two days. The 350,000 square foot warehouse will be dedicated to their eCommerce fulfillment.

NFI’s Real Estate team developed the building in 2021, and NFI will continue to operate the facility in support of Lamps Plus. Situated on a campus with other NFI operations, the facility will add additional jobs with opportunities for labor sharing and cross-training between facilities. In addition to warehousing and distribution, NFI provides Lamps Plus with East Coast port drayage services.
