Leading supply chain solutions provider, NFI, broke ground Thursday on a facility for industry-leading packaging provider, Quality Packaging Specialists International, LLC (QPSI) at NFI Park at Florence Crossings, N.J.
NFI is building the 377,440 square foot facility where QPSI will establish its new corporate headquarters and packaging supply chain center of excellence. QPSI is an outsourced packaging supply chain solution provider in the pharmaceutical, health, beauty and consumer goods sectors. QPSI will be the final company to join the complex, completing the build out of NFI Park at Florence Crossings with four total tenants at the popular location.
“Florence provides an ideal location for our corporate headquarters,” said QPSI CEO Mike Ricketts. “NFI has made the process smooth as we look to our new innovation center as a place to provide robust packaging solutions and create greater value for our customers.”
“We are incredibly excited to have QPSI partner with NFI to provide a world class facility,” said NFI President and Vice Chairman Jeff Brown. “NFI Park at Florence Crossings provides our tenants easy access to major highways in addition to a community supportive of economic growth.”
The strategic location of Florence, N.J. places QPSI at a corridor to major highways with easy access to the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 295, Interstate 95, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Florence Township made development seamless to attract companies resulting in an economic renaissance in the township.
“People stay where the numbers work and where they feel welcome,” said New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno. “They become an ambassador for the location when they feel comfortable.”
NFI’s real estate group provides services in construction, development, property management, and leasing. Family owned and operated since 1932, NFI utilizes a full suite of supply chain solutions including distributions and warehousing, transportation, brokerage, global transportation and real estate. NFI continues to grow with over 27.5 million square feet of warehousing and more than 8,000 employees.
“At NFI we leverage over 60 years of experience in commercial real estate to provide our customers ideal locations and facilities which meet their needs,” says Michael Landsburg, NFI Vice President of Real Estate. “As an end-to-end supply chain solutions provider we can evaluate the entire picture through warehousing and distribution to domestic and international transportation and be able to provide flexible solutions.”
