In warehouses, workers face accidents related to forklifts, stacking of products, improper equipment use, inadequate fire safety provisions, and even repetitive motion, among many others. The warehousing industry experiences nearly 15,000 injuries and illnesses each year, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.1 To help decrease these accidents, warehouse operators should always promote and stress the importance of safety best practices. Careful planning and a dedication to safety is the top priority for keeping warehouse workers injury-free.
