2011 International Mercury Excellence Award Winner

NFI won 5 awards in the 2011 24th annual International MERCURY Awards Competition. The Mercury Awards honor excellence in professional communications.

In 2011, over 750 entries were received from 21 countries including Austria, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand,  People's Republic of China, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Our two Gold awards were for our community service work.

2010 International Stevies Award Winner for Environmental Responsibility in North America

NFI won a prestigious international Stevies Award for Environmental Responsibility in North America in 2010. Honorees were selected from more than 1,700 entries in more than 40 nations. This award is the world’s only international, all-encompassing business awards program to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.

NFI Wins 2010 International Communitas Award for Sustainability Initiatives

NFI was recognized for its sustainability practices with a 2010 Communitas Award for “Excellence in Social Responsibility for its Green Initiatives”. Communitas is an organization that honors exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals that are unselfishly giving of themselves and their recourses as well as changing how they do businesses to benefit their communities. In addition to NFI, the list of honorees included companies such as Uncle Ben’s, The American Board of Pediatrics, Pfizer, ING, Doubletree Hotels and American Airlines.

NFI Wins 2008 EPA SmartWay Excellence Award

NFI won the 2008 EPA's SmartWay Environmental Excellence Award. This is the second time NFI has won this coveted award - the first being in 2006.

NFI was judged on the amount of fuel savings and emissions reductions (compared to the overall fuel consumption and emissions footprint of the company), the type of strategies and technologies undertaken and the overall environmental performance of the company.

LEED Silver Certification

In 2008, NFI completed construction of a 55,000 SF office building in Atlantic City, receiving LEED silver certification. NFI believes in the philosophy of the US Green Building Council and strives to build all new construction to meet LEED standards.
