2010-2011 International Mercury Excellence Award Winner

NFI was presented the International Mercury Award for Non-Profit work on the 2010 MS150 City to Shore Bike Ride. The nominees were selected from more than 750 entries and 21 countries around the world.  

2010 International Stevies Award Winner 

NFI is honored with the Prestigious Stevies Award in Environmental Responsibility for 2010.  Honorees were selected from more than 1,700 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 40 nations. This Award is the world's only international, all-encompassing business awards program to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.

LEED Silver Certification

In 2008, NFI completed construction of a 55,000 SF office building in Atlantic City, receiving LEED silver certification. NFI believes in the philosophy of the US Green Building Council and strives to build all new construction to meet LEED standards.

NFI wins Third Place in the Truckload Carrier Association 2009 National Fleet Safety Award

NFI was awarded third place out of 85 companies and was presented the 2009 National Fleet Safety Award from the Truckload Carrier Association (TCA). The contest is for lowest accident frequency per million miles in carriers traveling between 50 - 99 million miles per year.

NFI is awarded three 50th Anniversary Service Awards from the American Truck Historical Society

The American Truck Historical Society visited the Vineland Headquarters and honored NFI for 50+ years of being in the trucking business. They also awarded certificates to Anne Geraci and Horace (Bucky) Volkmar for 50 years of dedicated service in the trucking business.

NFI wins the Lowes 2009 Platinum Carrier Award for the second year in a row

NFI was awarded the Lowes Platinum Service Award, signifying a 99.5% on-time delivery rate for 2009.

NFI moved more than 53,000 loads for Lowes via NFI Transportation, Logistics, and Intermodal.

NFI wins the 2009 BP Driving Safety Standards Award for the 4th year in a row

BP placed an ad in the October 2009 Transportation Topics which stated “Thank you again for your cooperation and ongoing efforts to meet BP’s Driving Safety Standards. Your commitment to meeting these “above and beyond” standards and to driving safely, are accomplishments truly worthy of recognition.”

NFI Human Resources Department wins 2009 Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year Award

NFI’s Human Resource Department received the 2009 Delaware Valley HR Department of the Year Award for an HR team between 20 and 49 employees. Nancy Stefanowicz and her team have made considerable strides over the past several years in helping us manage our most valuable asset – “Our People.”

NFI Dedicated in Kissimmee is Presented the Lowes Award for 5 Years of Outstanding Service

NFI Dedicated in Kissimmee, Florida, was recently presented with a plaque from Lowes for Outstanding Service. The plaque recognized the NFI Dedicated Fleet for its 99.96% on time service record for over 40,000 shipments in the last five years.

Lowes further recognized the driving force behind the fleet and dedicated a Wall of Fame to the dedicated drivers.

NFI Wins 2008 EPA SmartWay Excellence Award

NFI won the 2008 EPA’s SmartWay Environmental Excellence Award. This is the second time NFI has won this coveted award – the first being in 2006.

NFI was judged on the amount of fuel savings and emissions reductions (compared to the overall fuel consumption and emissions footprint of the company), the type of strategies and technologies undertaken and the overall environmental performance of the company.

NFI Global Wins World Cargo Alliance “Best Partner of the Year” Award 2007

NFI Global was awarded the World Cargo Alliance’s Best Partner of the year award for 2007. NFI competed against 45 other North American companies within the WCA network. This award is the result of fellow WCA partners and offices around the world independently voting which partner in North America provided the most consistent and professional services.
