Navitrace Technology

NaviTrace is a secure, web-based system developed by NFI for our logistics, distribution and transportation customers. In its simplest form, NaviTrace, can be used to track and trace shipments, look up inventory status or view performance reports. This is the system that gives our customers visibility into their supply chain.

However, we don’t have too many customers that use NaviTrace in its simplest form. The beauty of this system is that it can be customized to give you just about any type of inventory or tracking system you desire. Our IT professionals do some pretty amazing out-of-box thinking and as a result, many of our customers enjoy “one-stop shopping” to access their data.

For example, if you are a distribution customer, one screen could show all the information necessary to view the status of your inventory. This information might include:

• SKU
• Warehouse
• Location
• Pieces / Cases
• Quantity on Hand
• Quantity Allocated
• Quantity Picked

This data can be viewed in many different types of reporting formats and even imported into an Excel file.

NaviTrace can be customized in numerous ways to fit your specific inventory and reporting needs – that is what makes NaviTrace so unique and why our customers are so pleased with it.

If you are a transportation customer, NaviTrace can be used to:

• Check load assignment status
• View scheduled deliveries
• View customized reports and data exports

But again, NaviTrace can be so much more. If you need to know exactly where your shipment is at any time, NaviTrace will allow you, through invisibly linking to Qualcomm and a GPS system, to pinpoint the very road your truck is on. We called this Real Time Shipment Status.

Or if you need images of signed delivery sheets, they can be posted, viewed and filed for reference on NaviTrace.
