NFI Solar and the solar business in America have been busy!  In the recessionary envirornment we currently find ourselves in, solar has been a bright spot (no pun intended...). Check out some of the exciting things going on.....

NFI Solar is working on quite a few projects.  One we are especially excited about is happening in Vineland, NJ. We are preparing the roof of our corporate headquarters in Vineland, NJ for a 1+ MW PV system that will ENTIRELY power that facility with clean, renewable power.  Combined with our system in Cherry Hill, this will mean both of our HQ facilities are 100% powered by renewable energy.  Way to go, NFI!  Check out the roof at the Vineland HQ on a live webcam feed....

Our parent companies corporate headquarters is now in its second week of being powered COMPLETELY by clean renewable solar power. This is one of the few buildings in NJ to have its energy demands met entirely by the sun, and it symbolizes NFI commitment to a clean energy future. Way to go, NFI! Check out the link for some pictures of the installation on the roof of NFI’s Cherry Hill HQ.

NFI Solar had the opportunity to help out recently with a charity called Horizon International Medical Missions. Horizon was headed to Haiti to do some medical relief work, and they where in desperate need of an option for managing their energy needs in the chaotic aftermath of the devastating earthquake. NFI Solar was able to help them procure a solar generator in a timely fashion. Horizon sent us a picture to pass along their thanks. Take a look at the link to check it out…

In the world of sustainability, some interesting things are happening as well
