NFI invites the public to their 8th annual Truck Rodeo Grand Championship in Allentown, PA. This finale of driving expertise is the last of five truck rodeos held across the U.S. by NFI in 2012. On October 6th (8 a.m.-2 p.m.) 17 award winning truck drivers from across the country will compete in skillful driving challenges, pining for the top prize, a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The day will be filled with family fun events, free food, and prizes!
Leading up to the Grand Championship, NFI drivers qualified at Truck Rodeos in Lebanon, IN, Cherry Hill, NJ, Waxahachie, TX, and Jacksonville, FL. Like the “Olympics of Driving,” the Truck Rodeo consists of several different events that challenge driver skill with truck maneuverability. Spectators are invited to watch the competition, as drivers navigate an obstacle course set up to test agility behind the wheel. The event promotes safe driving and smart thinking, acknowledging those employees who put an effort towards keeping the roads safe.
Regional rodeos this year have been a huge success, bringing over 500 attendees out to enjoy the excitement. Make sure you bring the whole family out for this free-admission, open to the public, day of outdoor fun. Philadelphia classic rock radio station 102.9 WMGK will be there, broadcasting music throughout the event. There will be free games for participants of all ages, and special giveaways. Children are invited to play in the giant moon bounce, and take part in fun Fall activities, getting the whole family involved in the action!
NFI’s Truck Rodeo Grand Championship will be held at 7588 Penn Drive, Allentown, PA. To view photos from previous events, visit NFI's Facebook Page. For more information, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
